I think the cars themselves look pretty cool, but it's still a lame SP, only cause Fresh-Prince, essentially the king of car making has made dozens new ones already for free. But never the less, check it out:

Hi people. A lot of you seem to have technical problems at TSS today, so I'm giving you guys some more time to try and upload your houses. It would be a shame if ready made houses got left out from the contest. So. The new deadline is 8,5 hours from now, at 8:00 PM tonight, Finland time (gmt +2)! I hope you can upload in that time

So again, you still have 8,5 hours to upload your entries!!

More "Late Night" info and a hands on review

Today, Gamespot posted their hands on review of the upcoming "Late Night" expansion pack. The article, while short, does an excellent job at explaining what comes in the game; objects, traits, personality traits and more, as well as some other neat new interactions!

Teen Choice Awards: Best Video Game of 2010

And the award goes to....

The Sims 3 has won the Teen Choice Award for the best video game of 2010! The game had some heavy competition, going up against: Band Hero, Green Day Rock Band, Halo 3 and Super Mario Brothers Wii.

Revamped Downloads.... Again

Well, to be honest, it's been a slow, lazy Saturday, so I thought "Hey, why not update the site for the hell of it?".

This is what I've done:

Profiles now show latest 8 uploads, NOW with thumbnails too!
Sims 3 downloads are now all in one forum
- This means you can view ALL TS3 downloads at the same time
- Of course, all the previous sections are still filterable
- Top Items are now visible in this forum, rather than a separate page

Anyways, just have a play around with that, and haz fun!

Great job to everyone who entered

CHALLENGE #2 IS OVER!

Even when we got over ambitious and announced the second challenge just a day after the first, we still got an awesome amount of entries! Thank you so much to everyone who entered, I really hope you enjoyed this challenge. Was it harder than the first? Easier? Whatever the case, you all did fantastic.

This challenge focused on renovating a house that was in need of a face lift. We had five awards selected before the contest started, but as it turned out, multiple people landed exactly on the $60,000 mark, forcing us to have to remove that prize from the competition. We also said that you guys would have to option to vote in a poll this time around, but the staff was literally split half and half, and ready to kill each other. So, that got thrown out the window ultimately and we just voted together. Sorry if you were looking forward to that. So anyways, we have four awards to give out today! They are as follows:

Uploading Improvements

Hey guys,

Well, if you tried to come to the site before and it was offline (hopefully not, because I did try to do it during the rest of the globes night time, which conveniently for me, is right throughout my day time!) you're probably wondering why? No? Oh, nvm.

Anyways, I made some adjustments to uploading content, namely, now to choose the required games, you use check boxes. To choose a display picture, you do not attach it as normal, but attach it in the "Display Image" box, this will insure that your preferred picture is used -every- time. Lastly, when viewing all the downloads in a forum, you can now see which games the require as they are now visible under the display image.

Here's what you'll see when, either editing, or uploading a new item:

Each field, as shown has an explanation, so it's pretty straight forward.

Finally I'd like to thank, Qbuilderz, TVRdesigns and Armiel for helping out through this mammoth task! We had to reupload the display pictures, check the requirements boxes and remove the existing requirement icons from EVERY upload on the site, that alone took several hours, so thanks so much guys!

The Sims 3: Late Night Expansion

Today The Sims 3 officials released a trailer for the next expansion pack called "The Sims 3: Late Night"

From what I can tell so far, it is a "Nightlife" remake with bubbles, muscle shirts, and freaking sicko instruments. With cities and downtowns in the future, are you already as psyched as me, or are you waiting for more info? Current release date is unknown, other than it is set for the coming autumn season

EDIT: Okay, so, some things I noticed from the trailer worth noticing...

- City/Downtown buildings
- Hot tub
- Keyboard / Base / Drum Set
- Clubs (with bouncer awesomeness)
- BUBBLES!
- 00:45 in, either that is a really unsafe ledge and that hot tub is on terrain, or that is a roof top pool.
- Paparazzi (possibly just clever video making)

Ok, it's 5:03pm AEST, and Challenge #2 is now over! Any entries submitted after this point in time will just be approved into the ordinary lots and housing section (so as not to waste a nice house!).

I'll move all of our entries into the challenge forum so you guys can look at each others lots. Then, us staff are going to choose, say the top 5 or so, and we'll hold a poll and then you guys will all vote for the one you think is best

Customise Your Profile

Get your teeth sunk into your profiles and really make them your own. Now you guys can customise the colours and look of your profile with a few simple clicks!

There's not much else to say but, go to your profiles and click "Change Profile Style" and start playing around.

I will be make a little How To guide on the customiser, cause it does require a trick or two here, but until then, have a play around and enjoy
