Hi everyone I'm Dee, but I am a usually a nice person and I love to play my sims in my spear time or for stress relief. I love to play the sims but if I am building I get bored easily so I try to keep my building to a minimum but it kinda comes up to moderate building for me. XD But I normally try to build enough to gain some building skills. I kinda have a problem every now and then, making my houses one big hall way and I hate it when I do that. But mostly if I do that I'll make it an open house. Now enough about that and more about me.

I am usually easy to get along with. I am about 5'0 ft tall and I am Taurus (Un-fortunately DX.) and I love to make new friends, and I love to talk but I am not a good listener if I get bored. XD. My favorite color is Blue. I love blue it is like the most awesome color in the rainbow. My favorite food is rice for some weird reason, my favorite drink is Mott's Fruit Punch. My favorite soda is Coke-a-Cola and Diet Pepsi. My Favorite movie is Bringing down the house. I am not a reader that is why I am an owner of at least 3-4 books.XD. I love to type. Typing is really fun to me but I don't like my typing class at school because is already pre-typed on the computer and we have to type it out again ourselves and I am really slow at that. If I am typing free will I am at about 30-35 wpm. I am now a facebook addict. I was a Myspace addict and but Myspace is old news and now I am more into facebook.

Now, this in my opinion, couldn't possible get ANY cooler, it's freaking amazing. Kolipoki, has finally finished the awesome TS3 Magic mod which allows you to have your sims casting spells all about town. Now there is more to it then just that, your sims also work away at their skill and will be able to cast more spells, eventually reaching a master wizard!

Now, this mod is still quite experimental, though, I myself haven't experienced any problems with it, you might, so be sure to backup game files before installing this, and have fun!

Not sure where to put this, but this fits best. Anyway, based on Flabiliki's meshing tutorial I am making a giant flat screen TV. I'm editing the overlay to have a little sticker that says "By Charlie Steal". I am using GIMP 2.0 DDS plugin if anyone uses it. I initially had a separate text layer, but it couldn't generate mip maps from it because the layers weren't powers of 4. I merged it with a copy of the main layer and disabled compression. (I'm not sure which compression to use) Now it says "It appears your image is a volume map, but not all layers are the same size, thus a volume map cannot be written". Could it be because it opened the DDS and all its mip maps too? Daluved mentioned this for clothes in her basic custom clothing tutorial, maybe its similar. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

*Update*
How silly of me! I loaded the original DDS with mip maps. That fixed it. But which compression should I use? I left it uncompressed leaving the package file quite large...

Enhanced Wavy Hair

I change the Sims hair textures again.
So this is the same mesh but with a different texture and I really think with this texture the hair looks much better!

Then this mod is the choice for you. It will cause your ghosts to walk like normal sims and it also removes their want to "Be Ghostly" (possible side affect is they won't haunt objects). Does this painting look familiar? Well it should! It's the 4 tile canvas from The Sims 2 Nightlife called, Two Dogs and an Olive. Now, this isn't a recreation of that painting, mainly because the mesh is different, it's not just for this picture.

This download comes with 6 different pictures, of course feel free to make new recolours of it. I have taken and edit all pictures myself, except of course "Two Dogs and an Olive", which is from The Sims 2 and the house that was made by Qbuilderz.

This picture requires 4 tiles along a wall to place.

So I thought it was time to close the old poll and put up a new one. But before we get to that, here are the results of the previous poll:

New Gallery and Edited Menus

Well seeing as The Sims 3 Ambitions was announced I decided to do a few things to the site. First off, I organised the drop down menus more now, so there is a category title and then the links under it, just check under the user links tab .

Secondly, and much more awesomely, I've added a gallery to the site, which can be found under the "About" menu. So far it only has Sims 3 Ambitions pictures however I'll be adding more as time goes on, for now, you can check it out here:

It's just been announced that the next expansion for The Sims 3 is going to be called Sims 3 Ambitions. With this EP, you'll get new careers that require more in depth game play. Instead of sending your sims to fall down a rabbit hole while at work, you actually direct what your sims does while at work. Like, if your ambition is to be a doctor, you can go around and make house calls or treat patients at the hospital. It's sorta like World Adventures, but career style!

Well, after 3 long months without it, I FINALLY got The Sims 3 working! I should be back in the flow of things in a couple days. Mean while, I need to make all of my recolors again. Also, I need to get the CAW tool on here too. And on too of all this, I need to change my signature! So, expect an upload soon!
