This set includes three chairs. The chairs were made by converting the Barstools in TS3 into normal chairs that can be used at the normal sized dining table.



I created this pack of meshes because some of the Barstools I really liked in TS3 had no conversion as a chair like some of the other ones do. Specifically the Colonial Barstool and the Country Barstool. So, I went ahead and changed the mesh and made it suitable for use at dining tables.

You can see the resemblance from the Barstools to the chairs pretty easily. Their just tweaked a bit.

When new expansion packs are released with new Barstools that would go good as a chair, I'll make another version of this pack. Enjoy!

Note: Sometimes it shows sims sitting in mid-air, sometimes it does not. I'm working my best to fix this.

I agree. Thanks. Colonial is something I wanted too.

Anyone know a way of fixing it so the sims don't sit up in mid-air? I resized the chairs to the size of regular chairs, but they still act like their sitting on bar chairs. Having a difficult time figuring it out.

Easy, clone a dining chair, import the mesh you have modified over the dining chair, and save it. They are sitting up too high because the game still thinks they are bar stools

I tried that, because that's how I knew how low I would resize the chairs.

The problem is, sometimes they sit up high, sometimes they don't. I'm thinking it has to be an animation.

Just means you are doing something wrong. If you clone the dining chair, and replace the dining chair mesh with your new one, and do it correctly, it will work, trust me, there isn't a way from them to sit up higher if you do it off a dining chair and 100% sure you did it right.

These are really good a barstools chair in the pack. I guess the quality of this chair is so really good like the other.
