Some Sims choose to be Doctors. Others, choose to be Musicians. But now, your Sims can choose to become Magicians. After about a month of painstaking coding and a lot of help I bring to you Magic for the Sims 3. This simple Mod contains 18 new interactions centered around magic. Along with all of those interactions, a custom skill is involved, Magic.

The Wand:
The wand can be found under Hobbies/Skills. The wand cost $100. As of now, the mesh is not recolor able, but hopefully that will change in the near future. The mesh was created by Flabaliki.



The Skill:
To obtain a skill in magic one must A) Buy a wand and B) Put the wand in your Inventory and then C) Use the practice magic interaction on any mirror. The skill comes with two statistics and two challenges

Statistics:

• Good Spells Casted
• Evil Spells Casted
  

Challenges:

• Master Wizard
• Master Wizards are fond of friendship and can help all of their friends in their needs. 50 spells devoted to friends help one along the way to become a Master Wizard. Master Wizards obtain the power of resurrection.
• Warlock
• Warlocks choose the way of the dark arts. They specialize in casting dark and evil spells. They have dedicated at least 50 spells to such arts. Warlocks obtain the power of Mind Control.
  

The Animation:
As custom animations are not really possible yet, this is not a new animation. However it is pretty close to looking like the real thing. Sorry for the hand grip being a little off, but it is unavoidable because it is not a new animation.

• Dirty Object: Level 1
• Set Fire: Level 2 (can only occur on current household's lot)
• Delete Object: Level 3

• Take Out Trash: Level 1
• Clean Object: Level 2

• Creativity: Level 4
• Irresistability: Level 5
• Fast Learning: Level 6
• Observance: Level 7
• Fertitility: Level 8
• Long Life: Level 9
  

Kill by...

• Electricution: Level 10
• Old Age: Level 10
• Fire: Level 10
• Starvation: Level 10
  

Master Wizard Interactions

• Resurrect (can either resurrect ghosts that are visible, or click on their urn stones to resurrect. Resurrected Sims will return their previous household, unless it not longer exists in which case a new one will be created and they will move to a random lot. Sometimes, if the original household does not exists they will be stuck there and be homeless. Twallan's Story Progression mod should help)

• Get Raise
• Make Friends (and of course you cannot make anyone like yourself)
• Make Enemies (and of course you cannot make anyone enemies of yourself)

This mod, while although awesome, might cause problems, so be careful and let me now if you come across something.

What to download?
If you are a normal user just download the Kolipoki_TS3_Magic. If you have downloaded Magic and are getting error files, try using the TestersOnly file. BE WARNED!!! I have had no time to test it so it could mess up your game so use at your own risk.

I have discovered a problem with the wand. I have to reinstall my game because the Sim Panels do not expand. I think that happened because my game kept locking up and I had to use Task Manager to shut it down. My game was locking up when I cloned the following:

ClutterTablePaperTowelRoll.package
SculptureWallMountedFish.package

I thought the problem was with s3oc.

When I went to save a few things before reinstalling my game I found the following script error message 11 times.

I removed any files having to do with magic and tried those cloned files again. The good news for s3oc is those files no longer lock up the game. The bad news for me is my sim panels still don't expand. The bad news for you is there is a problem with your WandInts.

I'll check back with you after I get done with the reinstall.

Now we need a magician career ^_^.

Thanks for this, had heaps of fun. I used Twallan's Super Computer to open up houses at night, and I would start fires and murder everyone.

This does not work with Ambitions. It causes crashing when trying to load a town
