Sunset Valley/Riverview Emptied!!

Sunset Valley is the default town for The Sims 3, but as you all know, it is less than satisfactory, one of the main things being the lack of empty lots...and ugly lots as well. But have no fear, because -I- have fixed it...by deleting it all!

Yes, that is right, I present to you a totally spick and span absolutely no lot neighborhood...except for the work destinations because those would be a pain to re create. This means that you will have a total of 60 or so residential lots and about 15 community lots with nothing on them.

This will help out all of the lot builders out there, because in all honesty, there is a lot of things that screwed over builders this time around, and I want to make it easier for you guys out there! This is also excellent for legacy challenges because you get a much wider range in how you play.

Versions

I have included four different versions in this post. You can download Sunset Valley with absolutely no lots OR Sunset Valley with the 'require to play' lots. This is the same for Riverview.

Sunset Valley [Empty].rar -> Playable Version
Sunset Valley [Res-Empty].rar -> Build Version
Riverview [Empty].rar -> Playable Version
Riverview [Res-Empty].rar -> Build Version

Playable Version: This is the one you want to download if you want to build lots and play the game with. You need this one as it includes the required community lots for play, EG, the work buildings, book store and grocery store.

Build Version: This is the version you want to download if you are a builder. This has absolutely no lots, no community lots, it is all empty residential lots.

Installation

To install, all you so is simply
1. Extract '(File Name).rar'
2. Move the '(File Name).sims3' to My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves
3. Load up your game and it should be displayed in the main menu.

I hope you enjoy it...I spent a half an hour of my life deleting it all for you, so feel special, all of you...

Not to be a bother but, Both Sunset Rars have empty in them, the one should read Res-Empty. Other than that nice job, I've been looking for the Military base to reinstall into my game, (for some reson I have an empty parking lot) and this is the only place that's even come close to having it! (so what if I got to get the whole town for 1 lot, I'm still going to be able to put it in houses bin and then bulldoze old one,) thank you very much, KHLVH

hm.... I hate to sound like a bother, but uh... How do i put this into my game? Although i'm quite the idiot

It goes in your save folder: My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves

They show up as saved games, not world selections.

I put the file in My document/electronicarts/sims3/saves and start the game. I click on the new one and it says unplayable file. What went wrong?

This just what I needed. I'm starting to build now..then create a world comes out and I have no idea what to do with it. Your Idea is excellent and I now can use it to create homes and my own families to live and grow. I am downloading right now!

ummm well i've already dwnloaded i,t put it in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Saves, but actually ( ive downloaded riverview ) it doesnt appear in the main menu..
someone can help me?

Thanks for this! I originally downloaded this at MTS but due to a crash/new computer needed to again. I was surprised and disappointed to find it was obsolete at MTS and am so glad to get it back again! Thank you
